Gogol was born in 1950. After finishing his architecture degree he began filming documentaries as a camera assistant at the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation. Since 1982 Lobmayr has lead his own production company.
In these 30 years of experience as a cameraman, director and producer, Gogol Lobmayr evolved his super 35mm shots to a incomparable perfection.
